The logo is just a piece of your new visual identity. To help ensure brand consistency, we'll craft a living document containing guidelines for the entire identity system: Brand Information & Background, Logo Usage, Color Palette, Primary and Secondary Typography Use, Photography Style and Integration, Common Errors, and Voice & Tone Recommendations
Three Stylescapes
Stylescapes are a visual encapsulation of your brand's voice, tone, look, and feel filtered through three prompts. This essential step will help us set the broad direction for the visual identity and allow you to collaborate with our process at a v stage.
Logo Design
Where everything comes together, we'll present three (3) initial concepts with contextual applications. Then we'll help you decide on a single direction and refine it.
Brand Style Guide
The logo is just a piece of your new visual identity. To help ensure brand consistency, we'll craft a living document containing guidelines for the entire identity system: Brand Information & Background, Logo Usage, Color Palette, Primary and Secondary Typography Use, Photography Style and Integration, Common Errors, and Voice & Tone Recommendations.
Brand Messaging
We'll develop the brand's primary tagline, campaign headline and subhead concepts and an overview of the brand voice, which will later be featured in the overall brand style guide.
Brand Collateral
No brand lives in a vacuum. Therefore, we will create impactful brand collateral that your users will love.
Brochure
Combining the insights drawn from our discovery phase and technical information from your team, we will craft an informational brochure that can be used both in print and online. This piece will be saddle-stitched (stapled) and delivered digitally in print-ready files.
Email Newsletters
We'll design, write and develop announcement emails before or after launching the video and website. In addition, we'll use visual assets from what we've created for the video, website and/or identity to communicate the exciting news.
Brand Email Templates
Email marketing, especially segmented, behaviour-based campaigns, will play a vital role in the overall sales funnel. We will design branded templates for the three most common email marketing messages: brand newsletters, targeted communication, and product-based announcements.
Social Media Branding
Social media platforms are your digital business cards, and consistency in visual identity is key to brand recognition. So we'll design headers, profile images and writes to help prospective customers immediately identify who you are and what you stand for.
Firstly, we find the right match for you.
Most of SingleThread's web applications are built either using our preferred web development tool 'Webflow' or are fully customised WordPress websites – each has there own benefits depending on the purpose of your site; both are made to be entirely bespoke solutions.
We take a design-first approach, creating wireframes, and detailed mock-ups (using Adobe XD modelling), finalise designs and then apply these to ultimately deliver a beautifullycrafted unique website
(with green credentials -

While WordPress has some well-documented drawbacks stemming from its popularity and original use as a blogging platform, many of these can be completely omitted and a fully custom WordPress site can offer clients significant benefits - especially for larger content-driven websites and e-commerce solutions. Here are just some of the advantages:
Integrations and functionality
: it's easy to overlook how well-supported WordPress is as an open-source platform, options are endless. Premium-developed ‘plugins’ (features) can offer complex functionality, make payment integrations seamless, and future website developments easy. Further to this, we only use the very best ‘tried and tested’ plugins for the best user experience.
Time savings / cost effectiveness:
writing code from scratch costs a lot and involves big lead times, as development often includes many stages depending on complexity. Custom WordPress builds offer time and cost-savings by using pre-existing effective solutions.
Extensive capabilities
–along with custom code we use Elementor page builder to supercharge WordPress. It effectively reduces the reliance on other plugins whilst offering interactions and animations, many of which are more commonly seen on a non-template-based website.
Webflow is simply a front-end development tool to create a website entirely of custom code. Sites are created using HTML5, CSS3, and the core.js JavaScript modular library as a framework and can utilise other Javascript integrations to do almost anything. This allows us to craft cutting-edge websites quicker – making it the ideal solution for marketing or promotional websites where their primary goal is to showcase an offer, product, or service. Here are some of the many advantages:
Limitless possibilities:
it's entirely bespoke meaning almost anything is possible (as long as the code allows it!) – this will enable us to think big and deliver better.
Total design control:
we start from a blank canvas whenever we create a site. We don't need specific themes or templates because everything is 100% customisable.
Custom interactions and animations:
we can create complex and tailor-made animations and interactions that elevate your website.
Having a low carbon footprint is essential. We also use Krystal to host sites. We have been using it since 2014. Krystal, as you know, is now one of the top green hosting companies globally. Here are some of the other low-carbon tools that we use.
We use webm images which are far smaller than standard jpegs or heavy PNGs, reducing load times
We use H264 video compression, so videos are the smallest size without a noticeable loss of quality.
We use WordPress heartbeat control - this a tool to help prevent a large amount of ajax requests from affecting the performance of your WordPress hosting server.
We will distribute servers geographically through a content delivery network (CDN). A CDN allows the quick transfer of assets needed for loading Internet content reducing carbon footprint and allowing us to language according to the country.
Because all our web experiences are bespoke, and each has different requirements in scale, design, and functionality, it's impossible to give a set timescale that covers all projects.
Once you've met with our Creative Director and we have a clear idea of your goals and needs, we'll be able to build timings for each component of your project. Until then, the timeline is a matter of "how long is a piece of string?" really.
That said, our technical processes (the scary stuff) have semi-fixed timings. So, for example, infrastructure deployment only takes a few hours.
As far as the creative processes (the fun stuff) go, the more information you're able to provide us with in terms of your target market, brand positioning, bra, etc., the quicker we'll be able to complete the creative and hand it over to our tech team.
And, if you don't already have all your branding elements polished and done, there's no need to worry. We can develop them for you.
You play a vital role in the timing too. The quicker you can review each stage of the project and get back to us with your feedback, the quicker we can move on to the next aspect of your site build.
We operate on a fixed fee base for all our website and brand builds. One price and we stick to it.
This means we're not forced to watch the clock and can concentrate on delivering the most amazing design experience possible. For you, it means staying on budget, a fast turnaround, and no nasty surprises at the end.
We'll provide an initial cost estimate. Then, once we have been through the briefing process with you and understand your project's full scope, we'll confirm the final fee. We stick to this fee unless any significant changes are made to the project brief.
Please note: two free rounds of revisions are included in every web build. After that, additional changes will be charged at an hourly rate. So, it's worth providing thorough feedback at each stage.
You want consumers to visit your company's online space and quickly understand why they should choose you rather than your competitors.
If your site or identity confuses them or fails to represent your brand in the best possible light, your developer hasn't done their job.
That's why we go the extra mile in the research stage.
Most of our projects kick off with an in-depth brainstorming workshop. This is a deep dive into your business, your brand, and your target market. We ask you questions, play collaboratively with ideas, identify untapped strengths, and have a great time doing this together.
From there, our creative team undertakes in-depth research into all the aspects of your business we'll be showcasing in your web and design experience.
Everything is consolidated into a comprehensive project brief, which we send you to pick apart and add to before we begin the design and development processes.
We will need access to all of your business branding assets. These include your company logo files, fonts, colours, and brand guidelines.
If there are any existing content, photos, or graphic elements you'd like us to use on your site, then we will need these too.
Do you need any brand or content assets created or refreshed? No problem. Our creative team can develop them all for you as part of your project.
We include two rounds of revisions with every web experience build.
This is applied to both the creative side of the process (branding, graphic design, copywriting, etc.) and the technical development of your site.
However, we work collaboratively and aim to build precisely what you want according to your timings. So, the two revision rounds are often only used for minor tweaks.
Additional changes after the two approvals will incur extra costs. So, we encourage you to take the time to provide thorough feedback.
Your priorities for your website may shift over time, and you might like to make changes to the writing or photos in the future.
We offer two options for editing your website copy, images, and blog content:
We can create and implement all updates for you as part of an ongoing maintenance package.
We can give you basic CMS access. This will allow you to handle all copy and image updates in-house but will not allow any technical changes. With this option, we provide a guide on how to use the CMS and update your content without jeopardising your brand.
All our core services are completed in-house.
We have spent a great deal of time and energy hand-picking a few trusted third-party providers for photography, video production, and a few other ancillary services.
These are experts in their field, who have each been carefully screened by our management team, and whom we trust to deliver in terms of quality, timing, and budget.
Because we don't have to carry the overheads of having these talents as full-time staff, we can offer you immersive branding or a custom-built website minus the big agency price tag.
The whole point of creating a custom web experience is to act like a source of light: attracting visitors, illuminating what they're looking for, and directing them towards taking action.
If they can't find you in the first place, then none of that can happen. So, a site without Search Engine Optimisation is a non-starter.
SingleThread web experiences consistently achieve impressive rankings using keyword research and advanced mark analysis.
We include initial SEO integration in our web builds. However, in the online world, the only constant is change (notably on Google's side). So, for your site to keep ahead of competitors, its SEO has to be updated regularly. This is why we also include SEO support as part of our ongoing maintenance packages.
We do not:
Create bland, formulaic cookie-cutter template sites.
Overwhelm clients with marketing mumbo jumbo or confusing techie geek-speak.
Blow the budget and come back to you asking for more – we stick to our quotes unless you ask us not to.
Call ourselves "disruptors" and hold endless vegan-latte-fuelled meetings.
